Steel Fabrication Supervisor (workshop)

Our client is looking for a Hands on Steel Fabrication Supervisorto join their team on a permanent basis.

They are Specialists in their field -submersible and centrifugal pump repairs with hydro test bay facility, gearbox repairs, valve refurbishments and precision and reverse engineering.

Must have knowledge in all aspects of Steel Fabrication & welding

Rate of Pay (Dependant on experience)

All candidates must:

• Managing, motivating and monitoring the performance of all workshop staff and supporting all staff in daily tasks and development.

• Ensuring availability of all materials required to meet production targets by forward planning and ordering.

• Ensuring production targets and deadlines are met by maximising use of available resources and scheduling working hours to achieve these targets.

• Some overtime may be required during periods of high production.

• Dealing with other TPM staff and Site Supervisors and maintaining excellent working relationships. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

• Ensuring adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations.

• Booking and arranging dispatch of product to customer sites as required.

• Attending meetings with senior management as required.

• Ensuring the workplace is kept clean, tidy and safe.

• Accurate and timely completion of all associated paperwork and documentation.
