The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with an additional understanding of electrical services to lead the delivery of a project in Uxbridge. This is a fast-paced, fixed-term project requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage both subcontractors and directly employed site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the mechanical and electrical installation from inception through to completion
  • Oversee and coordinate M&E subcontractors alongside direct labour teams
  • Work closely with the main contractor to plan, programme, and deliver workloads efficiently
  • Procure materials and plant, ensuring cost-effective and best-value purchasing
  • Interpret consultant drawings and specifications, supporting design & build elements where required
  • Produce accurate take-offs and identify, price, and manage variations
  • Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements, identifying scope and key deliverables
  • Maintain full commercial and financial control of the project
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health & safety standards, and company quality procedures
  • Support site teams and act as a point of contact
  • Lead the project through to successful commissioning, handover, and completion

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in mechanical building services project management
  • Demonstrated track record delivering projects from start to finish
  • Strong technical knowledge of: HVAC systems, LTHW / BCWS systems, Plantrooms, Ventilation systems
  • Good working knowledge of electrical services and coordination
  • Strong leadership and team management capability
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and resolve issues proactively
  • Strong client-facing skills with clear communication and reporting ability
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required
  • Essential to have IT capabilities including Excel and a good personable manner in dealing with client/design/contractor communications

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card (Manager level)
  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
