The Role
- Interpreting technical drawings to fabricate and weld metal components
- Understanding weld procedures and weld plans
- Fabricating to a high standard while working accurately to tight tolerances
- Completing fabrication tasks assigned by supervisors efficiently and accurately
- Operating fabrication machinery, overhead cranes, and hand tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out steel cutting, burning, and grinding to a high standard
- Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets strict quality standards
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and successful project delivery
About You
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or Steel Fabricator
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A safety-conscious mindset and commitment to following procedures
