Global Recruitment are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator / Welder to join a highly skilled and well-established workshop team on a permanent basis.

About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and professional fabrication workshop working on a wide variety of high-quality steel projects. The work is varied, interesting, and includes both architectural and structural steel fabrication for commercial and residential developments. You will be part of a skilled team producing precision-engineered steelwork to high standards, with opportunities to work on bespoke and complex fabrication projects.
Key responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of architectural and structural steelwork
- Working from detailed engineering drawings with accuracy
- Producing high-quality finished products to specification
- Working independently and as part of a workshop team
- Occasional site or customer-based work when required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency
Candidate requirements
- Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in both architectural and structural steelwork
- Ability to work independently using initiative
- Good communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
- Reliable and committed approach to work
