What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up and operating a conventional horizontal borer
- Working with lathes, milling machines, and drills
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Machining components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out self-inspection to ensure high-quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining workshop organisation
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Proven experience in a machining or engineering environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Confident operating a range of machine tools
- Desirable (but not essential): Experience with SH75 machines
- Forklift licence
- Overhead crane experience
- Strong understanding of machine shop safety
