What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Setting up and operating a conventional horizontal borer
  • Working with lathes, milling machines, and drills
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Machining components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out self-inspection to ensure high-quality standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining workshop organisation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Proven experience in a machining or engineering environment
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Confident operating a range of machine tools
  • Desirable (but not essential): Experience with SH75 machines
  • Forklift licence
  • Overhead crane experience
  • Strong understanding of machine shop safety
