Painter Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance Renfrewshire & Glasgow | Up to £22.00 per hour (CIS or PAYE Umbrella) | Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter to join a busy and growing team carrying out repairs and maintenance within social housing across Renfrewshire, Glasgow, and surrounding areas .
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent work, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a company vehicle following a successful probation period.
The Role Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating within occupied social housing properties Completing responsive repairs and maintenance works Supporting void properties when required Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting company performance standards Using the sim PRO job management system to record jobs and progress What's on Offer Up to £22.00 per hour CIS or PAYE Umbrella payment options Temp to Perm opportunity Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Overtime paid at Time & a Half Ongoing, stable work Mileage paid weekly when using your own vehicle Company van provided following a successful probation period Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within social housing or repairs and maintenance Full UK driving licence Own van preferred initially Strong work ethic with excellent timekeeping and reliability Ability to work independently and deliver work to a high standard Comfortable using a mobile job management system Important Information We are looking for tradespeople who take pride in their work and understand the importance of professionalism and productivity.
Working hours are strictly 8:00am4:30pm, Monday to Friday .
We have clear performance expectations, and reliability, punctuality, and commitment are essential to the role.
Overtime is available and paid at Time & a Half ; however, all hours claimed must reflect actual time worked.
