Are you an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator looking to work on large, challenging fabrication projects? Global Recruitment is recruiting skilled Structural Steel Fabricators / Platers to join one of Scotland's leading heavy engineering and structural steel fabrication workshops in Coatbridge.

If you take pride in producing high-quality, complex fabrication work and want consistent hours, excellent rates of pay, and plenty of overtime, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll be fabricating large structural steelwork and heavy plate fabrications from detailed engineering drawings, including complex assemblies for major industrial and construction projects. This is not repetitive production work - we're looking for fabricators who enjoy varied, technically challenging jobs and can work to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

  • Structural steel fabrication
  • Heavy plate fabrication
  • Large and complex steel assemblies
  • Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
  • Marking out, burning, fitting and assembling heavy steel sections
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

Pay Rates

  • Dayshift: £24.00 per hour
  • £32.00 per hour after 40 hours
  • Nightshift: £29.50 per hour
  • £34.00 per hour after 40 hours
