Global Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled Steel Fabricator / Plater with TIG welding experience to join a professional team based in Coatbridge. This role is ideal for someone who can work to tight tolerances and consistently deliver high-quality, precision fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate stainless steel components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
- Carry out plating work including cutting, shaping, and assembly
- Perform TIG welding to a high standard
- Work closely with production teams to meet project deadlines
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
- Maintain excellent quality standards across all work
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and plating
- Strong TIG welding skills (essential)
- Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances
- Experience working on complex or high-spec projects
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled with fabrication tools and machinery
- High attention to detail and quality
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
Working Hours:
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00
- Night Shift: Monday-Friday, 20:00-06:00
- Overtime available after 39 hours
Pay & Benefits:
- Day Rate: £22 per hour
- Night Rate: £28 per hour
- Enhanced overtime rates
- Flexible payment options: CIS / Umbrella (PAYE after 13 weeks)
