The Business Solutions team at GLAS is responsible for delivering digital innovation and technological solutions to enhance their product offering. With significant business growth, the team seeks an experienced Structured Finance Analyst with detailed financial modeling and Corporate Trust experience to support various client initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Review legal documentation and model details in Excel or SQL, interpreting metrics such as payment priorities, eligibility, compliance, and entitlements.
- Extract key information from legal documents to build accurate models.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex financial models for transactions.
- Conduct BAU handover training and support technical queries.
- Create and maintain investor reports in Power BI for clients.
- Monitor data and generate relevant certificates, notices, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients, presenting technical concepts and training.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Understanding of structured finance, borrowing base, and fund finance.
- Degree in mathematics or STEM.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling.
- Experience with SQL Server, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL scripts, including Stored Procedures and Views.
- Power BI report development skills.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and Power Platform is a plus.
- Experience with Jira and excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, client-facing experience.
- Knowledge of Python or R is desirable.
