Job Description:
We are looking to onboard enthusiastic and experienced Japanese Language Trainers who can teach online on a flexible, part-time basis. You will be delivering engaging sessions tailored to learners of different levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct online Japanese language classes (one-on-one or group).
- Customize lessons based on learner levels and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, giving constructive feedback.
- Incorporate cultural insights and practical language use.
- Participate in occasional trainer meetings and academic updates.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Japanese (native or JLPT N2/N1 level preferred).
- Experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language.
- Certification in language instruction (e.g., Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Reliable internet connection, laptop/PC, and headset.
- Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
Preferred:
- Trainers currently based in the UK.
- Prior experience working with international learners or exam preparation.
