A global investment bank with an expanding UK and European presence is hiring a high calibre mergers and acquisition professional for a dedicated M&A team in London. In this capacity you will assist with M&A origination and lead M&A execution. This institution is a well-regarded global firm and works with prominent companies, occasionally listed, and has interest in those with public M&A and/or UK Takeover Code experience. You will work on high profile M&A transactions across a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Support coverage/sector teams on M&A execution
- Oversee Financial Analysis
- Oversee preparation of client materials
- Transaction Execution - Interacting with clients and various levels of management, and acting as an integral part of the engagement team
- Keeping fully up to date with the markets and sector developments, understanding regulatory frameworks in relevant jurisdictions to support developing advice, valuation and financing structures

- Technically strong investment bankers who have accrued M&A analytical skills and strong execution experience
- Deal experience from pitch to close. Someone who knows what to expect in an M&A process
- Occasional work on listed M&A transactions and exposure to UK Takeover Code and/or public M&A is advantageous
