A leading global investment bank is building a new AI Engineering function and is seeking an experienced Neo4j specialist to help shape the next generation of enterprise AI solutions. This is a rare opportunity to join a newly formed team focused on applying cutting-edge AI, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG architectures to some of the most complex data and information challenges within financial services. Working alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects, and senior business stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing and delivering graph-powered AI solutions that enable more accurate retrieval, reasoning, discovery, and decision-making across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop enterprise Knowledge Graph solutions using Neo4j
- Build GraphRAG and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures for LLM-powered applications
- Model complex business, client, market, and operational data using graph technologies
- Integrate Neo4j with Generative AI platforms, vector databases, and large language models
- Develop graph analytics, entity resolution, relationship mapping, and semantic search capabilities
- Collaborate with AI, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams on strategic AI initiatives
- Help define best practices, standards, and technical direction for graph-based AI solutions
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Neo4j and graph database technologies
- Experience designing and implementing Knowledge Graph solutions at scale
- Understanding of GraphRAG, RAG architectures, semantic search, or LLM-powered systems
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern data architectures
- Knowledge of machine learning, NLP, Generative AI, or AI engineering practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
