Overview

We are looking for a QA Tester / Support Analyst to join a global technology team supporting front-to-back trading systems at a major global investment bank. This role will focus on end-to-end testing across the full trade lifecycle, working closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office applications. The position sits within an international QA function, with close collaboration across teams in Asia (India, China).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end functional testing across trading systems (Front Office to Back Office)
  • Execute and support automated testing initiatives and frameworks
  • Manage and maintain non-production environments (front-to-back testing setup)
  • Validate trade flows, ensuring accuracy across the full lifecycle
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams to identify and resolve defects
  • Participate in release cycles, regression testing, and system validation
  • Provide production support overlap where required, assisting in issue analysis and triage
  • Collaborate with global QA teams to ensure consistency in testing standards and delivery

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in QA / Testing within an investment bank or trading environment
  • Strong experience in:
  • Functional testing of trading applications
  • Test automation (any framework/language)
  • SQL for data validation and analysis
  • Unix/Linux (commands and basic scripting)
  • Good understanding of the trade lifecycle (Front Office to Back Office)
  • Familiarity with FIX Protocol (working knowledge, not necessarily deep expertise)
  • Experience working in non-production / UAT environments
  • Ability to work in a global, distributed team environment
  • Nice to Have

    • Exposure to MiFID / regulatory reporting
    • Experience supporting or testing electronic trading systems
    • Prior experience in a hybrid QA + support role
