Global Rail Construction Ltd is part of the RSK Group and is a leading UK provider of design and build services to clients in the rail and transportation sector. The company is a principal contractor for UK mainline and metro railways across a number of disciplines, which include signalling, mechanical, electrical and power (MEP), telecoms, civil and structural engineering, maintenance, and renewal, providing a fully tested and commissioned service on both Network Rail and Transport for London controlled infrastructure.
We are currently seeking a full-time Railway Infrastructure Setting Out Engineer to deliver an effective, efficient, and safe service for the company. The role is ideally suited to a career-minded Setting Out Engineer.
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following credentials:
- Strong Civil and Rail experience
- Understanding and working use of Network Rail and British Standards
- Ability to work together in a team environment
- Technical, analytical, and numerical design abilities
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skills
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK as and when required and availability to work weekends and nights
- Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground design and build processes
- Civils, Drainage, Piling, and Temporary works experience
- Car Driving Licence
- LU ICI
- Ideally a TWS Certification in the use of various handheld power tools
- CSCS card
