GIA is looking for a talented and ambitious cross-disciplinary individual to join the team as a full time Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Become a core member of GIA project development and financial advisory team.
- Support the team in ad hoc project development tasks for high-stakes, impactful infrastructure projects.
- Apply financial knowledge to ensure accurate representation of financial principles.
- Develop and maintain financial models for infrastructure projects in emerging markets.
- Assist in the preparation of data analysis, reports and proposals.
- Assist in securing new business and providing administrative support for business development activities.
- Conduct research, including understanding ongoing DFI projects, infrastructure initiatives and lead generation.
- Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze data for decision-making.
- Maintain high-quality communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Utilise advanced Microsoft skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Qualifications (meet min. 3 of the below)
- MBA, MSc or MA degree from top-tier university.
- Minimum 2 years working, professional experience.
- Working fluency in French, Portuguese, Arabic and/or other languages.
- Understanding of infrastructure development frameworks.
- Success in exiting or building a new business is advantageous.
- Background in IB, PE, or Strategy Consulting is advantageous.
