Role Title
Summary
- We are a charitable/nonprofit organisation seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Volunteer to support the organisation’s human resources functions.
- This is a highly collaborative role designed for someone eager to gain holistic experience within a purpose-driven organisation. You will play a key role in helping our teams function smoothly, lead small projects when needed, and contribute to improving internal systems and services.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting vacancies, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support onboarding of new volunteers and staff, ensuring smooth integration into the organisation.
- Maintain and update HR records, databases, and documentation.
- Help coordinate performance reviews and feedback processes.
- Address basic HR-related queries from volunteers and team members.
- Support HR-related communications across the organisation.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance volunteer engagement and retention.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with organisational policies.
Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Previous HR or administrative experience (desirable but not essential).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
