We specialise in providing high standard Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection services to top niche clients from a broad number of industries such as Construction, Hotels, Sport and Leisure, Housing, Education, Commercial, Manufacturing and Industrial.

Role Overview

We are looking for site operatives with at least 2 years proven experience in fire stopping. They should have a strong understanding of PFP (Passive Fire Protection) standards. Willing to travel. Global HSE offers diverse job opportunities across various locations. The role includes a company phone, company vehicle and fuel card.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fire-stopping installations and remedial works following manufacturer guidelines and FIRAS/IFC certification standards.
  • Have a keen eye for identifying potential fire hazards and the attention to detail to ensure complete coverage and effectiveness.
  • Ensure building safety by installing and maintaining fire-resistant systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
  • Identify areas in buildings, such as any penetrations or gaps around pipes, ducts, and cables, that require fire-stopping measures.
  • Use fire-resistant materials like sealants, sprays, and boards to seal these gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and building codes.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS checked
  • NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection OR equivalent
  • 2 years experience in Passive Fire Protection
  • Operate phone software to log and record works
  • SSSTS desirable
  • CSCS desirable
