The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Bartender to join their F&B team at a luxury hotel in Thurso. This is a full-time temporary role for any candidates who would require accommodation with potential for this to be permanent for candidates who are local to the Thurso area or willing to relocate for work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and work areas.
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and promote responsible service.
  • Process payments and operate cash registers or POS systems.
  • Restock bar inventory, supplies, and garnishes as needed.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stock counts.
  • Work alongside other food and beverage staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent guest customer service.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Due to location of role own transport is essential, this also applies for any live in candidates
