Housekeeper in Oban

The Opportunity Global Highland are currently recruiting for a live in housekeeper for our client in Oban. This is for an end of season position starting end of September and lasting until end of October. There is potential for role to be extended into the next season for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities * Cleaning and preparing bedrooms and bathrooms * Changing bed linen and towels * Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning * Laundry and ironing * Cleaning communal and public areas * Restocking toiletries and housekeeping supplies * Reporting maintenance issues or damage * Ensuring rooms and accommodation are presented to a high standard * Following health, safety and hygiene procedures * Providing a welcoming and professional environment for guests Requirements * Must have hospitality experience and ability to lone work when required. * Spent time in a senior position as a housekeeper and have keyholder experience. * Reliable, punctual and trustworthy * Good organisational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and a friendly, professional manner * Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties * Flexible and willing to work weekends when required * Respectful of guests’ privacy and property What's on Offer * £13.00-£15.00 per hour * On site accommodation provided. * Housekeeping couples welcome * En suite room * Potential for a role for next season available.
