Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Forklift Operator to join their team in the Nairn area. This is a permanent position offering stable hours within a busy warehouse/yard environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift and supporting the wider team with the safe movement, storage and loading of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving materials and stock around the site
- Assisting with stock organisation and storage
- Supporting general warehouse or yard duties as required
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
Essential
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, yard, or industrial setting
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience with loading/unloading deliveries
