Our client is seeking a highly organised and motivated Work planner - Repairs Planning Assistant to join their response Team. In this fast-paced role, you will help ensure that building repairs and maintenance are delivered efficiently, in line with Schedule of Rates (SORs) and within agreed timescales. You will work closely with Tradespeople, Inspectors, Supervisors, and the Senior Work Planner to support effective job scheduling and delivery across the clients housing and public property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate repair jobs for all trades using a digital planning system
- Monitor progress to ensure jobs are completed in line with SORs and required timeframes
- Work closely with the Inspectors Team to support day-to-day operations
- Provide planning cover and support across other trade teams during periods of staff leave
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
- Support compliance with health & safety standards, including asbestos and fire safety protocols
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Confident using digital planning or scheduling systems
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Trade background or knowledge of multiple building trades is advantageous
- Familiarity with property repairs and maintenance is beneficial
