Software Developer in Inverness

Our client is seeking a Software Developer who will support their Business Units efficiency through thedevelopment and design of specialised software. Whilst the focus will be to develop the existing web MVC applications as required,there is an aim to develop a user-friendly and efficient mobile application using .NETMAUI, ensuring compatibility across multiple platforms. Integrate with the existingdatabase and web application for required data. Therefore, it is a requirement thatthe developer has experience of .net MAUI and .net core.The Software Developer will work with other members of the Team to develop, deployand improve required software solutions. This may include integrating existingsoftware products and getting seemingly incompatible platforms to work together.As an experienced .NET MAUI software developer, you will have built and deployednative Android and iOS applications. Be able to share these skills and knowledge withthe Team and lead the mobile platform development. There will be a requirement towork on web .net Core MVC applications and APIs.The individual is expected to be able and willing to work to the vision, strategy, andcore values of the Group.

Hybrid office working, available in Inverness, Grangemouth or possibly Glasgow,required for effective knowledge sharing.

Key Accountabilities

?Supportingbusiness transition and helping to establish change.
Understanding and mapping business needs and processes across the organisation.
??Developing and maintaining a variety of applications across the business.
??Work effectively with internal and 3rd party providers to scope, implement, test and deploy solutionsto business problems.
??Assisting in the preparation and delivery of training and reference material on the new processesand software systems.
??Assist in the post go-live support of the systems and ongoing continual improvement.
??Work closely with other Team members to facilitate knowledge share.
??Communicate requirements and solutions clearly and accurately. Participating in code reviewsand documentation.
??If required escalate any request to the Business Solutions Manager for resolution.
??Performs other duties as assigned by the Business Solutions Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

?A degree or other higher education qualification in a computer science/software engineeringdiscipline and/or equivalent experience within a commercial IT environment.
??Experience of the full software development stack and lifetime cycle.
??Experience working with Microsoft .NET, Azure, Web and Mobile programming languages for atleast 5 years.
.NET MAUI across multi-platforms
