Our client is a local authority located in Aberdeen with a current requirement for a Senior Team Leader (Gas Central Heating Team) Whilst in this role you will be required to; Take responsibility for the supply of materials from the workshops to various maintenance/contract works in all housing for Gas Central Heating Systems and Repairs. Supervise a multi skilled work force – Gas Registered Engineers, Joiner, Electrician, sub for floor finishes Participate in investigations when concerns or complaints have been raised about standards of service or work. Liaise with other collogues to ensure complaints raised about standards of service or repairs have been appropriately investigated and responded to. Liaise and attend various meetings, as required, with contractors, specialist firms, Services, other local authority bodies, private consultants etc. Update, develop and where necessary, procedures for monitoring and review in conjunction with other members of staff. Working with all main building trades To be successful in this role; A knowledge of social housing stock and the construction methods used in building them. A good knowledge of building regulations. Good knowledge of the regulations relating to asbestos. Understanding of current Health and Safety issues and all current legislation and statutory procedures. Knowledge of IT packages, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Word etc. Essential: Gas Safe Registered and familiar with current regulations Be knowledgeable in current regulations. Awareness of current health and safety legislation. Risk assessments and method statements.
