The Opportunity
We are seeking a technically skilled professional to step into a customer facing sales engineer role. You will use your hands on experience to understand customer processes, identify opportunities and provide practical solutions. You will work independently, managing your own diary, with a team providing leads and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to understand their processes and identify solutions that add real value.
- Turn technical knowledge into clear, practical proposals and sales opportunities.
- Generate accurate quotations and manage accounts independently.
- Plan 8-10 customer visits per week, with Fridays reserved for admin and planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong technical background, ideally within maintenance, engineering or process roles.
- Ability to engage confidently with customers at all levels.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- Self motivated and results driven, able to work independently.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or consultative role.
