The Opportunity

Global Highland are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of our client within a group of hotels in the stunning surroundings of Skye.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and takes pride in producing high-quality fresh food. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team, maintain high standards and ensure the smooth running of daily service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
- Helping to lead, motivate and support the kitchen team
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Managing food preparation and stock levels
- Ensuring a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Requirements
\n
- \n
- Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior chef role
- Passionate about food and delivering high standards
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
- A positive team player with good communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
