The Opportunity
Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the technology sector for a Technical Warehouse Operative to support a short-term project. This is a hands-on role based within a warehouse environment, working closely with the Head of Technology to batch process faulty routers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring devices are correctly processed, updated, and prepared for restocking.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch processing faulty routers using a basic computer system
- Following simple instructions to log, update, or reset devices
- Ensuring accuracy when inputting data and handling equipment
- Identifying and separating units based on processing outcomes
Warehouse & Operational Duties
- Packaging processed routers ready for restocking
- Maintaining an organised and tidy workspace
- Supporting general warehouse tasks as required
- Handling stock with care and attention to detail
Requirements
Essential
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable using systems and data entry)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks
- Reliable and able to commit to the full 2-week assignment
Desirable
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience working with stock processing or returns
