We are working with a well-established industrial manufacturing business based in Elgin who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise their day-to-day operations. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and cost-effectively while driving continuous improvement across people, processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational activity across production, planning, logistics and site operations
- Lead, coach and develop operational teams to deliver high performance
- Drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
- Manage budgets, KPIs and operational performance metrics
- Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve output
About You
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or similar senior operational) role within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Solid understanding of production processes, CI methodologies and H&S standards
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and performance
- Hands-on, pragmatic and confident making operational decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
