Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the agricultural and logistics sector for a Warehouse Operative and Intake Assistant to join their busy depot in the Highlands. This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties. The successful candidate will support both the Depot Manager and Supervisor, playing a key role in stock intake, processing and general warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties
  • Accurate processing of paperwork and data
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders via phone, email and in person
  • Maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy
  • Supporting and promoting health & safety procedures
  • Acting as Health & Safety Champion for site (training provided)
  • Intake & Warehouse Operations
    • Coordinating intake processes for deliveries
    • Operating forklift trucks (FLT licence desirable, training may be available)
    • Physical handling and movement of stock
    • Providing a professional and helpful service to suppliers and visitors

    Requirements

    • Experience & Qualifications
    • Minimum 6 months warehouse experience
    • Administration experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Health & Safety knowledge or qualification (desirable)
    • FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
    • National 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above
