Our client, a boutique hotel in the Cromarty area, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their busy kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food preparation support.
As the location is rural, a driving licence and own vehicle is essential for this position.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed
Driving license and access to own vehicle essential due to location. Awareness of food hygiene standards (Level 1 or 2 preferred but not essential). Previous kitchen porter experience is required.
£12.75 per hour plus tips (salary works out to approx. £16 per hour).
Full Time, Permanent contract. Shift pattern consisting of either 08:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00 (rota based).
