Global Highland are recruiting for a Sous Chef for our client at a boutique hotel in the Cromarty area. This role has an immediate start available and would be an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef with a strong skill set and experience of working in a high-end kitchen. This is a full-time role 5 out of 7 days with no split shifts and an opportunity to go permanent.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks
  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
  • Ensuring food quality and presentation standards
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Training and mentoring junior chefs
  • Assisting with menu planning and recipe development
  • Taking charge of the kitchen when the head chef is absent
