We are currently seeking a Maintenance Team Manager to join our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based at our Cuffley office/working from home, but you will be required to travel across various locations in London and the surrounding areas.
As a Maintenance Team Manager, you will lead and manage the maintenance team across all managed properties, ensuring all properties are kept safe, compliant, and fit for occupancy. The role involves overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, team management, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining high standards of property care to support operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and motivate the maintenance team across multiple sites, primarily in London.
- Ensure all properties are maintained to high standards and are health and safety compliant.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance tasks to meet operational KPIs, including property fit-outs and occupancy readiness.
- Liaise closely with the Operations Manager and FM Admin Team to coordinate property availability and maintenance work.
- Manage contractor relationships, ensuring compliance, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and emergencies.
- Conduct quality checks and sign off on maintenance works conducted.
- Provide accurate reporting to their line manager on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
- Authority to schedule and prioritise maintenance work across sites.
- Relevant vocational qualifications in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
- Driving licence required due to travel between sites.
- Experience managing a team of maintenance staff or contractors.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, building compliance.
