Why This Internship Is Unique

This internship programme is aimed at students currently pursuing a university degree and is typically undertaken during the second or penultimate year of study. Start dates are flexible, either during the summer or on an off-cycle basis. The internship lasts approximately 10-12 weeks and is designed to fully immerse interns in the day-to-day activities of the Private Markets Real Estate Team.

Role Summary

The role is varied, challenging, and highly rewarding. Typical responsibilities include:

• Financial modelling
• Market research
• Drafting investment memoranda for internal and external use
• Developing and preparing presentations
• Conducting analyses to support investment decision-making
• Real estate discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and company valuations
• Assisting with due diligence and transaction execution

Key Responsibilities

The European Private Markets Real Estate team is based in London and is seeking motivated interns to join the investment team for a 10–12 week period. An internship at Global Gate Capital provides strong exposure to real-estate private equity and offers excellent learning opportunities. Interns will gain access to and work alongside teams across the firm, senior management at portfolio companies, and external market participants such as bankers, brokers, advisers, private equity funds, and real-estate investors.

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
