Global Fire and Security Systems are an independent company established in Nottingham since 1999. We have developed into market leaders in providing quality product solutions throughout the fire and security marketplace nationwide.
Due to continued growth and market development, we are now seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager – Service/Maintenance, to be field based covering East Midlands and West Midlands, including Wales and Anglia.
Job Purpose- To win new opportunities for system service/maintenance contracts.
- To develop relationships with new clients with system service/maintenance requirements.
- To develop relationships with existing clients with system service/maintenance requirements.
- To convert prospects into clients.
- Accountable for the generation of new business from new and existing clients for system servicing and maintenance.
- Responsible for managing the relationship with the client during the presale phase through to completion of the sale and hand over to the Service/Maintenance teams.
- To manage a sustainable sales pipeline.
- To negotiate with new clients regarding cost and delivery.
- To effectively forecast sales based on market analysis and to deliver against forecast.
- Demonstrable experience of developing new business specifically in the system service and maintenance field, preferably within the Fire and Security systems industry.
- Experience of preparing appropriate documentation for client consideration.
- Experience of organising your own time to maximise return.
- Skilled in analysing data to manage your area effectively and to present plans to senior colleagues.
- Ability to undertake site surveys when required.
