We are Global Fire and Security Systems, a leading provider of fire and security solutions, established in Nottingham since 1999. We are looking for an Installation Engineer (Mechanical) to work field‑based in East/West London and the Midlands.
Job Purpose: Use your experience to install, service, and maintain Ansul R102 fire suppression systems at customer sites such as schools, pubs, hotels, and similar environments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Install and service R102 Ansul Systems.
- Carry out remedials and upgrades of R102 Ansul Systems.
- Undertake site surveys.
- Own and manage allocated projects ensuring compliance with standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company requirements.
- Produce all site reports, including weekly project status updates.
- Order and manage stock from remote locations.
- Liaise with onsite contractors and management to ensure correct method statements are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure H&S and company policies are adhered to.
About You:
- Demonstrable experience with installing Ansul R102 systems.
- Previous experience working in a customer‑based environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to do day & night work when required.
- Ability to work at heights up to 3 metres and lift up to 25 kg.
- Variable hours and occasional stop‑overs acceptable.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
