About Global Fashion Group

Global Fashion Group (GFG) became a publicly listed company on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2019. It combines the governance and transparency of a public company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a digital business operating in dynamic markets.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is a core part of the Group Finance team, based in London. We focus on analysing the Group’s business performance and future forecasts for the GFG Management and Supervisory Boards. We collaborate with FP&A teams in Latin America, South East Asia, and Australia, alongside the wider Group Finance, Tax, and Treasury functions in London, Luxembourg, and Germany.

As the Group matures, the Group FP&A function becomes increasingly important in providing insight and analysis to support our fast-paced business. We are looking for a Group FP&A Analyst to join the Group Finance team in London on a permanent basis. This role spans both planning/forecasting and reporting, offering end-to-end exposure across the full FP&A cycle.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Group FP&A. You will work closely with regional FP&A teams, the Group Reporting Team, the Group CFO, and the Management Board.

SCOPE OF ROLE

This is a broadly scoped role spanning the full FP&A cycle, from budgeting and forecasting through to Board and investor reporting. Core responsibilities include:

  • Business Performance Reporting & Analysis
    • Lead preparation of the Group’s monthly and quarterly business review packs for the Management Board and Supervisory Board, covering detailed P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet analysis, non-financial KPIs, and variance explanations versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
    • Provide accurate, timely analysis to the Group CFO and Management Board to support decision-making, including key value drivers, sensitivities, risks, and accounting and cash implications.
    • Support the preparation of external results announcements and presentations, working closely with the Financial Reporting team and Investor Relations.
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Drive & coordinate the delivery, analysis, and presentation of the consolidated Group forecasting process, Annual Budget, and Mid-Term Plan.
    • Help maintain a high-level 5-year scenario model around the key drivers of the strategy, enabling stress-testing and scenario modelling, plus ad hoc scenario modelling as business needs arise.
    • Play an active role in the team's exploration and adoption of AI and automation within FP&A, streamlining processes and enhancing the quality of value-add analysis.
  • Business Partnering & Regional Collaboration
    • Provide critique and challenge to regional data, liaising with regional FP&A teams to understand local business performance and translate it into Group-level insight.
    • Build strong relationships with regional teams to open up communication and trust, and share best practices.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
    • Drive process improvement and OneStream development for FP&A, partnering with the Senior Finance Systems Analyst to build functionality that supports both planning and reporting workflows.
    • Play an active role in the development of the wider Finance strategy by helping shape and progress the FP&A roadmap end-to-end.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Qualified accountant with a record of success within a fast-moving, forward-thinking, multi-currency, listed company.
  • A low-ego intellect who can quickly get to the heart of an issue and communicate it clearly to peers and senior management.
  • Highly analytical, able to draw conclusions from large data volumes at pace.
  • A natural ability to curate and structure information, building slides and writing commentary that tell a clear, compelling story.
  • Attention to detail; accuracy is key as some outputs are shared externally.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, to cut through complex issues.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience of a Global EPM tool (OneStream highly desirable).
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Highly self-motivated, with a strong focus on delivery and initiative to own outcomes through to implementation.
  • Ability to quickly build strong working relationships with regionally based teams.
  • A friendly, curious, and considerate team player who demonstrates a desire to learn and willingness to support the goals of the wider organisation.

WHAT WE OFFER
