Global Engineering Talent has been appointed as the exclusive search partner to support delivery of the world's largest single-site solar power project, based in India. We are now seeking an experienced Engineering & Construction Coordinator to play a pivotal role at the interface between engineering, contracts, and site execution on this multi-billion-dollar programme. This position is critical to ensuring seamless alignment between design intent and construction delivery across a highly complex EPCM environment.
The Role
As Engineering & Construction Coordinator, you will act as the central coordination point between multiple design consultants, the commercial/contracts function, and on-site construction teams, proactively identifying issues and driving resolution to protect programme, cost, and quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordination between design consultants, contracts/commercial teams, and site construction
- Identifying design gaps, interface risks, constructability issues, and scope clashes
- Driving timely resolution of technical and delivery issues across engineering and construction
- Ensuring engineering deliverables are aligned with construction sequencing and site constraints
- Supporting change management, technical clarifications, and interface management across EPC packages
- Assisting in programme recovery and mitigation of schedule risks
- Regular travel between Mumbai and site in Kutch to support on-site resolution and coordination
- Acting as a trusted interface between the Project Director, Head of Construction, and engineering leads
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced EPC professional who is comfortable operating at the engineering–construction interface on complex, large-scale programmes.
Essential requirements:
- 18+ years' experience within EPC / EPCM project environments
- Strong background in infrastructure, oil & gas, or renewable energy projects
- Proven experience coordinating between design, contracts, and construction teams
- Ability to identify risks early and drive pragmatic, delivery-focused solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience operating in fast-paced, multi-contractor project environments
- International project experience is advantageous

Base location: Mumbai
Site: Kutch (frequent travel required)
Contract duration: 2 years (with potential extension)
