Our client is seeking an organised and proactive individual with a passion for logistics to join their team, a leading haulage company, as a Night Transport Coordinator. This role would suit an experienced HGV1 driver looking to take a step back from driving but, happy to drive when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate night transport operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Manage driver schedules and routes to optimise performance and reduce delays.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
- Monitor transport compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicles, and driver performance.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, transport coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
