We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client based in Thetford. This is an ongoing position with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Yard shunting duties using an HGV Class 1 vehicle
- Moving trailers safely around the yard and into loading bays
- Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch
- Working closely with the warehouse and transport team
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous shunting or yard experience preferred
- Ability to work the rotating shift pattern
- Must complete a driving assessment prior to starting
