We are looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team based in Northamptonshire. The role involves a mixture of trunking, shunting, andgeneral haulageduties, ensuring the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out Class 1 (C+E) driving duties, includingtrunking, shunting,and general haulage.

Complete timely and accurate deliveries/collections to and from distribution centres, depots, or customer sites.

Conduct vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant before use.

Accurately complete all required delivery documentation and digital records (PODs, manifests, etc.).

Safely load and unload goods, ensuring correct load security and weight distribution.

Maintain professional communication with the transport office and customers.

Adhere to Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and all Company policies.
Requirements

Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience (preferred).

No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).

Good knowledge of UK road networks and tachograph legislation.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

A positive, professional attitude and commitment to safe driving.

Trunking and local shunting shifts to suit work-life balance.
