Global Edge Group are working closely with an international operator to support project activities at their plant in Fife. We are seeking a skilled Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer to play a key role in cost estimation, schedule coordination, and project controls. This is a great opportunity to be part of a major turnaround project within a high-performing, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform cost estimation and quality assurance reviews.
- Prepare check estimates and schedules for various project scopes.
- Support project cost and schedule assessments.
- Maintain and monitor change control processes and cost tracking systems.
- Compile and deliver monthly project progress and performance reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial and accounting reporting standards.
- Collaborate closely with estimators, planners, schedulers, and client accounting teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience in cost estimating, project planning, and project controls within the industrial or energy sector.
- Strong working knowledge of project control systems, cost management tools, and reporting software.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving project environment.
