Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Lead Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation) – Office based Guinea, West Africa

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation) to oversee engineering efforts for a large-scale iron ore project in West Africa .

Role Overview:

• Manage and oversee Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) engineering for rail and export infrastructure.
• Ensure safe, fit-for-purpose designs aligned with project standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality deliverables.
• Oversee scope integration, technical reviews, and field engineering efforts.
• Support commissioning, issue resolution, and change management.

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years in C&I engineering, ideally in mega projects, mining, or material handling .
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in Africa or China is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in French or Chinese is a plus.
• Relevant engineering degree required.
