Managing a team of 15+ BDEs (SDRs) and Team Leaders, this role is responsible for building a predictable, high-quality outbound pipeline and driving the AI-enabled transformation of our outbound motion.
As a senior GTM leader, you will partner closely with Sales, Rev Ops, Marketing, and Partnerships, reporting to the VP Revenue Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global Team Leadership
- Lead and develop Global-e's Sales Development organisation across EMEA, North America, and APAC, directly managing regional Team Leaders
- Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, organisational change, succession planning, and career development across the function.
- Manage a structured management cadence across regions: weekly 1:1s with Team Leaders, workshops, and regular team training sessions.
- Represent Sales Development performance and strategy at company-wide forums, including quarterly SKOs.
- Pipeline & Commercial Ownership
- Own global outbound pipeline and conversion performance, driving quota attainment and improving outbound-to-demo conversion through stronger targeting, qualification, and messaging.
- Set and continuously refine segmentation and account prioritisation (ICP definition, Low Touch / High Touch / Named Account motions) in partnership with regional sales leadership.
- Own outbound-to-demo conversion rate improvement through better qualification, targeting, and messaging quality.
- AI-Enabled Transformation & Sales Operations
- Lead the AI Sales Agent programme end-to-end alongside innovation/Rev OPs: prompt optimisation, workflow integration, and team enablement, taking initiatives from planning through to live production use.
- Own the outbound technology stack: Linked In automation, power diallers, sequencing tools, intent data, and job-change triggers, ensuring tooling scales with the team.
- Maintain CRM lead-flow (Hub Spot) end-to-end to support accurate routing, reporting, and hand-off between BDEs and BDMs.
- Sponsor and scope cross-functional data/tooling workstreams (e. g. contact enrichment, TAM/ICP data quality, campaign infrastructure) with clear ownership from supporting functions (Rev Ops, external vendors).
- Enablement & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Own and continuously evolve the global BDE playbook and centralised sales enablement knowledge base, ensuring consistent messaging, qualification standards, and best-practice adoption across regions.
- Partner with regional VPs of Sales, Rev Ops, and Marketing to align account mapping, campaign strategy, and go-to-market execution with regional pipeline priorities.
- Own BDE-to-BDM handover and demo quality standards, including qualification criteria, documentation, feedback loops, and process improvements that strengthen conversion from qualified opportunity to closed-won pipeline.
- 4+ years in B2B sales development leadership, including direct people management of BDE teams; bonus if across multiple regions or time zones.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a predictable outbound pipeline, with clear ownership of quota attainment and conversion metrics.
- Hands-on experience with outbound technology stacks: CRM (Hub Spot or equivalent), sequencing/automation tools, dialler platforms, and intent/trigger data.
- Demonstrated experience leading AI-enabled sales transformation initiatives (e. g.
AI qualification agents, prompt-driven workflows) from concept to production, not just people management.
- Strong executive presence – ability to present pipeline performance and strategy at company-wide forums (SKOs, business reviews).
- Willingness to work across EMEA, North America, and APAC time zones, with occasional travel to global SKOs.
- Experience in cross-border e Commerce, payments, or Saa S
