Background

Global Drinks Intel is one of the fastest‑growing media businesses in the global drinks industry. Our magazine, digital platforms, partnerships and the new Global Drinks Awards connect leading brands, producers, agencies and suppliers worldwide.

With rapid audience growth and major new initiatives launching, we are expanding our commercial team and hiring a Commercial Manager – Media & Partnerships.

The Role

This is a role for someone who wants to build partnerships, shape commercial opportunities and work with some of the biggest names in drinks, not just sell advertising.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will grow revenue across our portfolio, including:

  • Print and digital advertising
  • Partnered content
  • Sponsorship
  • Bespoke partnerships
  • Awards‑related opportunities

You will manage existing clients, develop new business and contribute to the commercial strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building relationships with senior decision‑makers
  • Developing new business through proactive outreach
  • Growing and managing a client portfolio
  • Creating compelling proposals and partnerships
  • Attending major UK and international trade shows
  • Meeting clients virtually and in person
  • Working closely with editorial, marketing, digital and awards teams
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and forecasting discipline
  • Delivering against agreed commercial targets

About You

You are a commercially driven salesperson who wants to grow with an ambitious business.

You will ideally bring:

  • 3+ years B2B sales experience
  • 5+ years in media, advertising, sponsorship or partnerships
  • Experience selling print, digital and integrated campaigns
  • A track record of winning new business
  • Strong account management and organisational skills
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders
  • CRM experience and disciplined pipeline management

You operate with autonomy and accountability, balancing short‑term revenue with long‑term partnership development. Experience in drinks, FMCG or events is useful but not essential — commercial ability and attitude matter most.

Working Style

This is a remote role, but not a disconnected one. You will be:

  • Self‑motivated and highly organised
  • Responsive during working hours via Microsoft Teams
  • Comfortable working with international clients
  • Flexible around client needs, meetings and events
  • Communicative with the CCO and wider team

Package

  • £32,500-40,000 basic salary DOE
  • £65,000+ realistic package
  • Uncapped commission (5–15%)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Additional Christmas shutdown
  • International travel opportunities
  • Work with leading global drinks brands
  • Genuine progression opportunities

If you want to join a growing global media business and help shape the future of drinks intelligence, we’d love to hear from you
