GDCC – Global Data Collection Company is currently looking for Welsh-speaking Market Research Interviewers based in the UK to join our international research team. As a Market Research Interviewer, you will conduct opinion-based surveys and structured interviews on a wide range of topics for research purposes only. This role does not involve sales, marketing, or lead generation.
All selected candidates will receive full training before starting live projects to ensure you are fully prepared and supported.
Requirements- Job Type: Freelance / Self-employed contract (independent contractor)
- Remote (UK-based candidates only, due to project requirements and time zone alignment)
- Minimum commitment: 16 hours per week (4 shifts)
- Morning/Afternoon availability may be required depending on project needs
- There are no application, recruitment, or training fees at any stage of the hiring process. Applying for this position is completely free of charge
- Hourly rate: £16.50/hour (fixed hourly rate)
- Payments processed by GDCC are done via secure online payment methods (PayPal or bank transfer)
- Payment frequency: Monthly payments
- Bonus system: €50 bonus after successful completion of probation period
- €250 bonus after completing 250 working hours
- Additional performance-based incentives may apply depending on project outcomes
- Conduct structured telephone or online interviews in Welsh
- Follow survey scripts accurately and professionally
- Maintain neutrality and professionalism during interviews
- Ensure accurate and high-quality data collection
- Fluent Welsh (C2 level required due to customer-facing interview work)
- Good communication skills and clear pronunciation
- Basic English for internal communication and training
- Ability to work in a quiet environment with no background noise
- Good typing and computer skills
- Reliable internet connection and basic technical setup
- Call centre or customer service experience is an advantage but not required
- Secondary education or equivalent experience
All technical requirements will be provided during the application and onboarding process.
Additional Information- This is a research-only role (no sales or marketing activities)
- This position is offered on a self-employed / freelance basis; candidates are responsible for declaring and managing their own taxes according to local laws
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Welsh language assessment within 1–2 weeks
