An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to join a busy and dynamic accounts and administration team.
This role is ideal for someone with a methodical approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality, accurate work. You will support the smooth running of daily operations, contributing to both finance and administrative functions with professionalism and discretion.

The role
Working within a small, high-performing team, you will play a key part in transactional accounting processes, supporting daily finance tasks and general administration. You will also take on projects and initiatives designed to improve processes and support your personal development.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, matching to GRNs and investigating discrepancies
- Generate daily sales invoices and chase outstanding debts
- Set up and maintain client and supplier accounts
- Respond to customer and supplier account queries
- Reconcile company card reports and process cheques
- Support year-end filing, audits and general record-keeping
- Manage office supplies, handle post and calls, and process email queries promptly
- Provide ad hoc support to the finance and operations teams as required
- Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and support colleagues during periods of leave
About you
- AAT Level 2 (or higher) qualified, with experience in accounts or administration
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, discreet and confident in handling sensitive data
- Strong communicator, proactive and adaptable
- IT proficient, with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Calm under pressure, able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
