Reports to: RFS Training Delivery Manager

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Facilitate training events that support performance goals for sales and service, to ensure successful experiences for members and employees.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate job-specific training (operational procedures, system navigation, member interaction protocols, etc.) for new and existing member-contact employees, primarily through a virtual medium (Microsoft Teams).
  • Teach sales skill courses, including needs discovery conversations, product positioning, recommending solutions, and consultative frameworks.
  • Adapt facilitation style to accommodate different learning preferences, experience levels, and performance needs.
  • Evaluate learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support confidence and skill growth.
  • Proactively communicate with RFS Training leadership and learner leadership regarding learner progress.
  • Prepare reports summarising training outcomes, learner performance, and areas requiring follow up.
  • Assist with logistics for classes, including scheduling, materials preparation, room setup, and technology coordination.
  • Assist in review of training effectiveness metrics to identify strengths and gaps in current training.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of best practices in credit union services throughout Branch Administration, Member Service Center and Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: A combination of at least two years experience in branch operations, training facilitation, performance consulting, or similar coaching/training position.

Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking.
  • Knowledge of sales motivation and management techniques preferred.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and workplace performance methodology required.
  • Financial services experience and direct sales supervision or training of financial products preferred.
  • Must be able to use own vehicle to travel to local branches and operations centers for observation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Tenure: Assignment to the Retail Financial Services Trainer I (Category 10), Retail Financial Services Trainer II (Category 09) and Retail Financial Services Trainer III (Category 08) will be determined by the candidate's experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.

Compensation: Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range. Salary Pay Range: 09 $69,557 - $112,677 annually.
