Overview: The position is responsible for leading the team that fulfils legal records requests and levy processing.

Functions Supervised: Legal record requests and levy processing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee legal record requests and levy processing, maintaining familiarity with subpoenas, search warrants, summonses, requests for information and other legal documents served to Global Credit Union.
  • Maintain a current in-depth knowledge of the governing regulations, as well as credit union policies and procedures, as they relate to the processing of records and levies.
  • Ensure responses to subpoenas and levies are processed timely, accurately and in compliance with governing regulations.
  • Escalate to management and collaborate with the Legal department as needed to resolve complex cases or legal inquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained within the department for all requests and records provided.
  • Responsible for training, supervision, development and performance evaluations for designated staff.
  • Reconcile assigned department general ledgers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Additional education in legal records processing is preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in high-stakes processes. Ability to lead with empathy and professionalism. Must be able to effectively collaborate with other departments. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under regulatory constraints.

Compensation: Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range. Salary Pay Range: $63,233 - $99,908 annually.
