Overview
Reports To: Senior SC Enforcement Officer
Primary Functions: Support functions associated with recovery and enforcement actions.
Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned general ledger and data entry for department.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness for generation of batch correspondence for department.
Maintain credit union and department records, including, but not limited to, electronic and hard‐copy files.
Assist in preparation of legal files to include documentation, assignment of accounts, and court documents.
Assist in preparing and documenting payment requests for vendor invoices.
Assist in research of financial obligations, including, but not limited to, contact with trustees, courts, attorneys, vendors and other institutions as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable.
Experience/Skills: Applicant must display the aptitude and abilities to perform actions as required for duties and responsibilities. Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously with attention to detail. Six months general office work with some knowledge of collection laws preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Must have strong personality traits to handle adverse situations daily. Proficient in use of keyboard and calculator. Requires familiarity with office computer software.
Tenure: Special Credits Enforcement Support Specialist II (Category 15) requires six months tenure in the Special Credits Enforcement Support Specialist I (Category 16) position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Special Credits Enforcement Support Specialist III (Category 14) requires 12 months tenure in the Special Credits Enforcement Support Specialist II (Category 15) position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
Salary Pay Range: 14 – $45,633 - $66,624 annually
Salary Pay Range: 15 – $42,254 - $60,844 annually
Salary Pay Range: 16 – $40,241 - $57,142 annually
