The Audio Transcription Coordinator is a vital role at the heart of Torch’s ministry, helping ensure that people with sight loss can access Christian resources in audio format. The postholder brings technical expertise to bear, overseeing volunteers in the production of a wide range of audio resources, from daily Bible reading notes to magazines and longer publications, making sure they are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard. They will also help us to engage thoughtfully with new tools such as text to speech technology.

The overall aim is to help our clients encounter God through well produced, life giving content. If this sparks interest in you, do reach out!

Note that this role is for UK residents only and that attendance at Torch House will be required for Staff Days at least four times per year.
