We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator/Bid Coordinator to join our growing team delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive Commissioning, MEP and CoHE estimates for mission critical facilities, supporting both pre-construction and tender activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for data centre projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Undertake quantity take-offs for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Assess labour costs
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing packages (if applicable)
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
  • Support bid submissions and tender clarifications
  • Work closely with Business Unit Directors, Project managers, design teams, and commercial leads
  • Assist with budgeting and cost planning throughout project life cycles

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an MEP Estimator within construction or mission critical projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems
  • Data centre project experience preferred
  • Experience with large-scale commercial, pharmaceutical, or critical infrastructure projects considered advantageous
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced project environments

Desirable Experience

  • Data centre commissioning or mission critical project exposure
  • Knowledge of European construction markets
  • Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract forms
  • Experience working with Tier III or Tier IV facilities
